On November 28, the 2025 Conference on China Bicycle Industry forum themed on "Green Travel Intelligent Transportation" was held in Huadu District, Guangzhou. With focus on the core topic of "Quality-driven Growth for a New Chapter Together," the forum had in-depth discussions on key issues such as industrial upgrading, technological innovation, international expansion, and cultural empowerment, aiming to inject intellectual momentum for the high-quality development of the global two-wheel mobility industry.

This grand event was witnessed by leaders from the National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee, China Light Industry Council, Guangzhou Municipal Government, Huadu District Government, China Bicycle Association, leaders from industry associations and commercial chambers of major provinces and cities across the country, and persons in charges of leading companies of the industry, and prominent enterprises along the industry chain.

With eyes on the 'Dual Carbon' goals,

Lay together the foundation for green mobility

At the opening ceremony, Zhang Chonghe, Party Chief and President of the China Light Industry Council, pointed out that enterprises in the bicycle industry should implement national strategies, and strive to write a new chapter of high-quality development, taking quality as the foundation, innovation as the engine, and collaboration as support. He suggested improving quality and laying the foundation to closely follow new development needs; relying on empowering innovation to activate new industry engines; enhancing efficiency through digital intelligence to open new industry tracks; and promoting green transformation to form a new development pattern.

According to Gao Yuyue, Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, Guangzhou, as a major origin and hub of the domestic two-wheel mobility industry, has a solid industrial foundation and a well-positioned cluster of leading enterprises. The holding of the conference for five consecutive years in Guangzhou has accelerated the clustering of innovative elements such as technology and talent in the city's two-wheel industry, and enhanced significantly the influence of the concept of "Made in Guangzhou"; and the industrial chain has extended into areas such as sports competitions and cultural tourism, laying a solid foundation for high-quality industry development.

Liu Suwen, chair of the China Bicycle Association, said that in order for China's two-wheel mobility industry to achieve "quality-driven growth", it is essential to make breakthrough with innovation and build a solid "technical foundation" for the high-quality development of the industry; to  empower with green development and create the "core advantage" of sustainable industrial development; to guide with policies and create a "good ecology" for the healthy development of the industry; and to seek the future with openness and expand the "broad space" for the global development of the industry.

Focus on "integrated innovation" and "cross-border breakthrough" to explore a path of industrial upgrading

In the keynote speech session, the guests shared their cutting-edge insights and practical experience centering around the two core topics of "policy interpretation" and "global layout".
